Cheryl, a native of Massachusetts, possesses a wide variety of skills and talents which serve her well in the valuable role she plays in our practice. Her diverse experiences include working in a neurosurgical practice, a pediatric practice, a dental office, and as an operating room technician. In our practice, Cheryl plays an essential role in overseeing the daily functioning of the office, as well as serving as a patient resource to ensure that our patients have what they need before, during, and after treatment.
Cheryl is married to her husband of 38 years, and they have one daughter. Cheryl loves spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys traveling to New England, hiking, kayaking, and antiquing with her small group from church.
Carrie Toon, CCMA
Carrie is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with over 25 years of medical experience. She was born in Missouri, and has lived in Maryland, Texas, and now Georgia.
She has a wealth of experience in different specialties, including internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, and cardiac rehabilitation. She is excited to be part of our integrative oncology team.
She is married, with four children. In her spare time, she enjoys antiquing, boating, traveling, and spending time with her small group from church.
Glen Jackson, NRP
Glen is a nationally certified paramedic, whose career has spanned over 30 years. He was born in Alexandria, VA, and spent most of his summers growing up assisting his uncle who was a veterinarian and professor at the University of Tennessee. Glen began developing his assessment skills at that young age, by looking, listening, and feeling, since his “patients” could not talk.
He began his career with the Fairfax County Fire Rescue Department in Virginia. Throughout his career, he has worked as an EMT, emergency medical dispatcher, firefighter, hazardous material technician, paramedic, and flight medic. He obtained his critical care paramedic certification in Tennessee at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. He still maintains his National Registry of Paramedic, critical care, and emergency medicine certifications.
Glen is married to his high school sweetheart, and has three adult children. He enjoys camping, playing disc golf, and spending time with his animals.
Tina Frantz, RN
Tina is a native of Cleveland, OH. She has been a registered nurse for 33 years, including a wide range of experience including cardiac critical care, medical-surgical, gastrointestinal, post-op recovery, and oncology.
Tina is married to her husband, and has one daughter and one son. She also has two large puppies as well as two cats.
In her spare time, Tina enjoys hiking, walking, antiquing, and traveling.
